468 Field Trip Mobile App

468 FIELD TRIP: Mobile apps for educators to keep students present

In the era of Pokémon Go, educators are challenged to keep students engaged in the learning process. 468 Field Trip helps educators use mobile technology to more deeply engage and reward students for experiencing and learning about the world around them. The app can be used not only as a teaching tool, but also for organizing field trips, encouraging attendance to school events and fundraising.

EXPLORE

468 Field Trip apps have map pins indicating places of interest. Clicking on each pin gives users more information about that location. Excite students about learning by letting them create the content for your Field Trip app’s locations.

Points Icon

POINTS

Field Trip locations are assigned a point value. Points are collected when users are within GPS range of a location and hit “Collect Points” in the app. Give students and members of the community incentives for visiting, engaging and learning about these places.

Reward Icon

REWARDS

Points can be redeemed at Field Trip Rewards locations. Use the app for fundraising by driving traffic to your bookstore or offering businesses the opportunity to be Rewards locations in your Field Trip app.

REWARDING ENGAGEMENT IN THE REAL WORLD

CASE STUDIES

468 Field Trip can help support learning and community engagement for a variety of education environments – from a social studies class that creates its own history app to schools needing a companion app for field trips and events.
